Shaw Park, Clayton, Missouri

A 47-and-a-half-acre oasis amidst the din of city life, Shaw Park has stood as a testament to tranquility since 1935. Few paths in Saint Louis express the spirit of relaxation better than Chapman Plaza, a wonderland of fountains and foliage, and the multitudinous picnic and recreational facilities that call the park home. Recreational facilities include an Aquatic Center, an Ice Skating Rink and a Tennis Center.

Visitors wishing to sample the artistic legacy of Saint Louis can also view the Century Garden, which hosts James Surls' sculpture "Molecular Bloom With Single Flower". Other artworks on public display include Steven Gregory's "One Of Us On A Tricycle" and Carol Flenning's "Egg".
