Anthony's Italian Eats Opens in Clayton

Anthony's Italian Eats, one of Clayton's newest hotspots, marked their grand opening the first week of June with a full line up of events beginning with open tastings for the community on Monday, June 4th and again on Tuesday June 5th. These were followed by a family and friends event and a night out for the media. The wine tasting, in conjunction with Bommarito wines and open to the public, was held on Friday, June 8th serving to showcase the varied wine list on the casually comfortable patio at Anthony’s Italian Eats located on Wydown Blvd. The week culminated on Saturday, June 9th with a charity event held to support the local APA adoption Center on Brentwood in their mission to provide safe, loving homes for the area's abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats. In addition to donating a portion of the day's sales to the APA, two gift baskets were raffled to the attendees featuring gourmet products from the restaurant's specialty grocery section. The APA also provided a second basket filled with pet care supplies as well as a voucher toward the adoption of a pet from the APA's center.

The restaurant serves up pizzas, salads and sandwiches seven days a week. Patrons visiting Anthony's are able to dine at the several tables inside the restaurant or dine al fresco with the tree lined beauty of Wydown Blvd. as a backdrop. In addition to the regular menu items, Anthony's offers products imported from Italy such as Balsamic vinegar, San Marzano tomatoes, and cured meats and cheeses from the deli case.
